Sustainability
Sustainability and the energy transition is becoming an increasingly prevalent topic across the globe and as a team we are interested in not only how our industry is impacted by climate change but also how it could be more sustainable and contribute towards the fight against climate change.
We believe adopting sustainable practices is not only the right thing to do but makes perfect business sense and our multi-disciplinary team is here to help you with various elements of your strive to be greener across the broad spectrum of sustainability.
We have experience in helping organisations develop their Green Agenda and supporting sites with their net zero roadmaps. As well as compiling greenhouse gas inventories focusing on calculating Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions using the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol tool and building bespoke dashboards to track year on year progress against targets, we can also facilitate workshops to discuss options for emissions reductions, providing support within every aspect, not just with calculating the emissions. We can also help with sustainability elements within environmental permitting within Best Available Techniques (BAT) assessments.
With our understanding of and facilitating effective management of risk at the core of our business, we are also able to support those of you who may be developing lower carbon facilities or with projects such as installing EV charging points at petrochemical sites as part of an already established green agenda to understand the risks involved in such projects. We have also been exploring how sustainability lends itself to being considered within hazard studies throughout the project lifecycle from concept and detailed design through to construction, commissioning, and operation.
We believe that with relatively small changes to established and embedded hazard study processes, sustainability can be considered at the right time to maximise the potential benefits of operating sustainably and to make a project as sustainable as possible over its entire lifecycle.
