What We Do
Working to internationally recognised standards, everything we do is about managing risk whether it be safety, business or environment. A lot of organisations initially come to us with a regulatory compliance need but many come back to us for support with their wider risk issues.
Our entire approach is about adding value to your business. By blending our expert capabilities in managing risk in the energy, pharmaceutical, and chemical sectors with our work with key industry players, you can be certain that you’ll receive up to the minute knowledge and our undiluted focus on the specific risk challenges of your business.
We do things because we believe in them
We believe that one of the most important principles of consultancy is to strive for continuous improvement. By asking, ‘what does good look like?’, analysing what is being done against good practice guidelines, then looking beyond we can challenge the norm and look for new ideas, solutions and process solutions, rather than relying on old methodologies.
For example, when conducting risk assessments, it is important to understand what exactly it is you are trying to identify. Sometimes all that is needed is a routine assessment, but we believe that one should always consider new guidance, new ways of thinking, and the arguments for and against different risk assessment techniques before beginning an assessment.
This openness to embracing new ways of conducting assessments, constantly reviewing methodologies, keeping up to date with the literature, and reflecting on feedback encourages continuous improvement.
We are different in how we approach issues
We are innovative, creative and smart.
Every piece of work we undertake will be bespoke to your needs. We take the time to understand your unique set of circumstances. We question everything and don’t work in isolation so that by taking a holistic approach we can see the impacts on your entire organisation.
Only when we fully understand your challenges will we apply our skills and creative thinking to meeting your requirements. This can often lead us down a different path than was expected but, as your partner, our job is to make sure your best interests are protected.
It’s the only way we can confidently say, ‘we’ve got your back’.
People are at the centre of everything
What we do, why we do it and how we do it is important.
The reputation of our team continues to grow and is something we are excited about.
It might sound cliched, but a company is only as good as its people and we only recruit the best in the industry. We invest a huge amount in developing bright new graduates into experts of the future. By developing a team that believes in what we are doing, we are creating a ripple effect of positivity, respect, motivation, and excellence; all characteristics that are vital in achieving successful outcomes for you and your business.
